Introduction

EduPrep is an AI-powered test preparation platform designed for parents of K-12 students. It automates the tedious parts of test prep — finding study materials, creating practice quizzes, and tracking your child's readiness — so you can stop stressing and your kids can focus on learning.

Quick Start Guide

1. Create an Account

Sign up using your email to start your free trial. Your EduPrep workspace is automatically created and ready to use. See the Pricing page for trial and subscription details.

2. Add Your Children

Navigate to the Students page and add each child with their name, grade level, email address, and subjects. EduPrep tailors all content to their specific curriculum.

3. Create a Prep Plan

There are two ways to start practicing:

  • Test prep plan — From the Test Prep page, set up an adaptive plan for a standardized test (SAT, PSAT, STAAR, CAASPP, AP, Spelling Bee, General Knowledge, and more). EduPrep runs the plan on a recurring schedule, sending study resources and quizzes automatically.
  • Ad-hoc prep plan — From the Students page, send study materials or a practice quiz on demand for any subject. Pick the subject and difficulty, and EduPrep emails it right away — no schedule required.

4. Let EduPrep Do the Rest

That's it! EduPrep will automatically email study links and quizzes to your child and send you readiness updates. Check the dashboard anytime to see overall progress.

Managing Students

You can add multiple children to a single EduPrep account. Each student has their own:

  • Grade level and subjects
  • Curriculum links
  • Upcoming tests and study schedule
  • Quiz history and readiness scores

To add a student, go to the Students page from the sidebar and click “Add Student.” Enter their details and EduPrep will immediately start tailoring content to their curriculum.

Quizzes & Readiness

Practice quizzes are AI-generated and tailored to each student's grade, subject, and test topics. Key features:

  • No login required — Your child receives a unique quiz link via email. They just click and answer.
  • Instant scoring — Results are calculated immediately after submission.
  • Adaptive difficulty — Quizzes support Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. When scores exceed the threshold (default 90%), difficulty automatically increases.
  • Answer key — After completing a quiz, students can review the correct answers with explanations.

View all quiz results and per-student readiness scores on the Readiness page.

PSAT/SAT/STAAR/Spelling Bee/General Knowledge Prep

EduPrep offers structured test prep plans for standardized tests like the PSAT, SAT, STAAR (Texas), Spelling Bee, and General Knowledge. These plans include:

  • Alternating sections — math, reading/writing, science, and social studies (for STAAR)
  • Adaptive difficulty that increases as your child improves
  • Streak tracking to maintain study momentum
  • Configurable quiz cadence (daily, every other day, etc.)

To set up a prep plan, go to the Test Prep page and create a new plan for the target test.

Holiday Prep

Holiday Prep keeps learning alive during school breaks and beats the “summer slide.” Schedule rotating quizzes and study materials across an entire break — at whatever pace works for your family. Supported breaks:

  • Winter Break — keep skills sharp over the winter / Christmas holidays
  • Spring Break — light enrichment during the spring week off
  • Summer Break — prevent the summer slide with regular practice
  • Fall Break — stay on track during fall break
  • Thanksgiving Week — short-burst quizzes over the Thanksgiving break

Each plan lets you choose a break period (with handy presets), a send frequency (daily, every 2 days, every 3 days, or weekly), and the student. Every send includes two quizzes covering two subjects, rotating through all subjects over the break. EduPrep tracks per-subject readiness, overall progress, and study streaks — and you can pause or resume any plan at any time.

To set up a plan, go to the Holiday Prep page and click “New Holiday Plan.”

Notifications

EduPrep delivers content through multiple channels:

  • Email to students — Study links and quiz links are emailed directly to your child.
  • Email to parents — Readiness alerts and progress updates are sent to your email.
  • Dashboard — View all activity, readiness scores, and upcoming tests in the browser.

Troubleshooting

My child didn't receive the quiz email

Check the student's email address in the Students page. Also check their spam/junk folder. Quizzes are sent automatically based on your test schedule.

Quiz questions seem too easy or too hard

Quizzes adapt over time. You can also manually set the difficulty level per student in their profile settings.
